Greetings of the garden!

I returned from Seattle to find my plants of tomato had grown to the high chest. But my grapevines of the pumpkin, whereas they are great and they wish, underwent destruction in the leaves. I calculated that towards outside it suffered of the white dusty fungus, and bought a fungicida in the local conservatory. We will see how that is solved.

The following problem with the pumpkins was that it did not have any growth of the fruit. It had seen the flowers with the small pumpkins in them, but these were all that marchitaban and that died. I discovered that he is this because they did not obtain polinizados.

There are a shortage of the bee in the United States, a nightmare for the orchards of the fruit and the nut. An acarus, that attacks the beehives in the winter and ravages the larval bees, has gotten to be resistant at miticide that it controlled it. The populations of the bee are so down. The price of almonds can rise. And my pumpkins are not obtaining polinizadas.

I found a site in line that it explains how to polinizar by hand, and now I have polinizado three flores.

Esperanzadamente my harvest of the pumpkin is saved.

Now: in the problem in I mend of the tomato. I discovered in a one of the dead pumpkin flowers caterpillar, that I identified like "looper of cabbage". I have begun the hunting these and feeding them the spiders that live around my house. Please enjoyed triptych here. Grieved first photo he is defocused, but I think that you obtain the best sense of inchworm-like the attitude of the spiders of looper.

My will obtain fat spiders!
